Top Priority Goal

In Michael Masterson’s book, “Seven Years to Seven Figures”, he talks about an exercise taken from a course he took in college. The exercise required you to write down 10 goals, then pick the top 5, top 2, and finally, the top priority goal. Then, focus everyday primarily on obtaining that goal. It is suggested that if you have too many goals you will make some progress on each of them, but rarely will some of any of them be completed. Keep in mind we’re talking about big goals, like losing weight, making a million dollars, traveling to Europe, and so forth.

Set your mind on your top-priority goal and continue to analyze whether the actions you are taking each day and each moment are leading you closer to, or further away, from that goal.
