Search Engine Optimization
There are many things to consider in search engine optimization and marketing (aka SEO / SEM). To start you’ll want to review your site:
- Does your site provide useful and up-to-date content?
- How are you using key phrases (as they pertain to search terms related to your business)?
- Is your code clean and well-written, allowing optimal indexing of your web pages?
- Do you have a strong title tag, using a combination of keywords and your organization’s brand?
- Does your meta description give someone an informative introduction?
These questions, amongst others, are good places to start within your site.
Further, you want to consider what relevant and reputable sites are linking to you and how to generate more of these incoming links.
- Find related sites that you should link to your’s.
- Who are your competitors and what sites are linking to them (and how can you got those links, too)?
- What kind of link bait (content that people will refer and recommend) do you have?
- How do you perform in social media and bookmarking sites?
I have the experience and tools to show you how you are currently performing and how you can improve. I would be happy to give you a brief synopsis and proposal for work; simply let me know.
